The first chromosome is metacentric and the second one is sub-metacentric.
Chromosomes are present in nucleus of the cell containing DNA.
They are divided into four types based on their arm length. The four types are -
- Metacentric - Here the chromosome forms V shape and has equal arm length.
- Sub-metacentric - Here the chromosome forms L or J shape and has unequal arm length.
- Acrocentric - The chromosomes of this type are rod shaped and one of their arm is very small in comparison to other.
- Telocentric - This type of chromosome lacks one arm.
