Once a frog lived in a well for so many years. It ate all the small creatures which were found inside the well when he was hungry. The frog never came outside the well for so many years. One hot day, the water in the well started evaporating, so there were no insects or small creatures for the frog to eat. At that time the frog decided to come out of the well to see what is happening in the world. The frog who has lived so many years in the well, didn't know what to do while coming out of the well.
This is like, the King who is ruling a horizon, who considers him as an Emperor. He is the king of his horizon only and not the emperor of the world. He doesn't know anything other than his horizon. So he is like a frog in the well, who doesn't know what is happening outside his horizon.
