  1. xylem =Xylem is the specialised tissue of vascular plants that transports water and nutrients from the plant–soil interface to stems and leaves, and provides mechanical support and storage. The water‐conducting function of xylem is one of the major distinguishing features of vascular plants.
  2. phloem=Phloem (pronunciation: /ˈfloʊ. əm/) is the living tissue in vascular plants that transports the soluble organic compounds made during photosynthesis and known as photosynthates, in particular the sugar sucrose, to parts of the plant where needed. This transport process is called translocation.

Function of:-

  • Xylem:- Xylem is a conducting tissue which helps in conduction of water and minerals from the root to different part of the plant.
  • phloem:- Phloem is the vascular tissue responsible for the transport of sugars from source tissues to sink tissues.
  • Epidermis:- The epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone. The dermis, beneath the epidermis, contains tough connective tissue, hair follicles, and sweat glands.
  • Uterus:- The uterus plays an important role in human reproduction. It is the organ where the implantation and nourishment of the fertilized ovum takes place.
  • Vas deference:- The vas deferens is a long, muscular tube that travels from the epididymis into the pelvic cavity, to just behind the bladder. The vas deferens transports mature sperm to the urethra in preparation for ejaculation.
