Answer:

Geobacter are capable of coupling the reduction of certain metal oxide such as Fe (III) and Mn (IV) to the oxidation of organic compounds in soils and many types of sediment. Some species are also able to oxidize aromatic hydrocarbons anaerobically and play a significant role in their removal from aquifers. These contaminations can be petroleum or landfill leachate

b) Ideonela sakaensi--- Ideonella sakaiensis is a bacterium from the genus Ideonella and family Comamonadaceae capable of breaking down and consuming the plastic poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) as a sole carbon and energy source. The bacterium was originally isolated from a sediment sample taken outside of a plastic bottle recycling facility in Sakai, Japan.[2]

Answer:

Geobacter - It is a rod shaped proteobacter. It can degrade long hydrocarbon chanis of Petroleum. It reduces metal ions. Such as causing reduction of Ferrous ions. It also generates an electron flow wich may be the cause of electricity.

Ideonella sakaiensis - it is proteobacter, a gram negative aerobe. It is capable of degrading long polymers of poly-ethene and poly-terephthalate. Due to this property Ideonella is used to degrade non biodegradable wastes.

Pseudomonas spp. - a gram negative, flagellated, non spore forming aerobe. It is used for the purposes of Bio remediation, degradation of organic pollutants. P. Fluorescence is used even in food industry.

Saccharomyces cervisiae - it is a fungus well knows as brewer's yeast. It is mainly used in alcoholic fermentation.

Aspergillus oryzae - it is a filamentous fungus of Eurotiomycetes. It is used in soya sauce fermentation. Yet it also codes for aflatoxin.
