There are majorly five types of vegetation found in India.

They are namely Tropical Evergreen Forests, Tropical Deciduous Forests, Tropical Thorn Forests and Scrubs, Montane Forests and Mangrove Forests.

Tropical Thorn Forests and Scrubs are mainly found in areas with less than 70 cm of rainfall.

This kind of vegetation is mainly seen on the Northwestern part of India across Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Mangrove Forests are always found in areas by the coasts affected by tides.

The deltas of the Krishna, the Mahanadi, the Godavari, the Ganga and the Kaveri are the main areas that are lush with mangrove forests.
