Given,

y=3

i) In one variable

Equation remain same i.e y=3

ii) In two variable

Something multiplied by zero (0) is zero.

So we can add by 0×x (this way we can introduce another variable i.e. x without changing the properties of the equation.)

⇒0×x+y=3

⇒0x+y−3=0

So, this is the required equation in two variables
