Answer and explanation:

Given : Geometric equation

To find : Represent equation in

(1) in one variable

(2) in two variables

Solution :

In one variable,  is a point (-4,0).

In two variables, we have x and y axis.

So, writing equation  in terms of x and y.

.(1)

Put y=0 in (1),

Put y=1 in (1),

So, Points are (-4,0) and (0,-4)
