2..rhodesiense was present in Uganda and contributed to the epidemic Uganda is affected by gambian sleeping sickness which is caused by infection with T. b. gambiense and rhodesian sleeping sickness
3..Malaria is caused by the infected female anopheles mosquito.When the mosquito bite the human body, the protozoa is tranferred into the human body through blood.After three or four days the protozoa is multiplied infecting the human body with malaria

Lets understand what is immediate and contributory causes ?

Immediate cause -The primary factor by which the disease is caused  ie, organisms like bacteria or viruses.

Contributory causes - These are not primary causes but give favorable

condition to the primary factors ( bacteria and viruses ) to cause the disease .  It include low immunity power .

  • Immediate and contributory cause of Hepatitis - Hepatitis is a viral infection that is caused when the person consume alcohol  etc.

  • Immediate and contributory cause of sleeping sickness - IT is caused by infection with the parasite Trypanosoma brucei, which is transmitted in human body by tsetse fly found in rural area of Africa.

  • Immediate and contributory cause of Malaria -  Malaria caused by plasmodium parasite by the bite of infected mosquitoes.

       Favorable condition include -

  • Avoiding mosquito nets
  • Water get collected in coolers, tyres, containers etc.
  • Dirty sewage system
