It actives the enzymes.

It also balances the anion-cation balance in cell.

DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS :

1) Mottled or virginal chlorosis which is followed by necrosis of leaf tips,margins and between veins.

2) loss of apical dominance leads to rosetle or bushy habitat.

3) Disintegration of plastids.

4) Lodging of corn plant.
