Nitropentaaminecobalt(III) chloride has the chemical formula [Co(NH3)5(NO2)]Cl2 and is an inorganic compound. This is an orange solid that is water-soluble.
For its ability to repress cell division, nitropentaaminecobalt(III) chloride has been studied. This property was tested to prevent tumors and bacteria such as E coli from developing.
