so we take 'eth'
here, the substituent/ prefix is 'Cl' {chloro}
and a double bond [ ene- C=C ]
hence the IUPAC name = Chloroethene
(ii) CH₂ = CH -CH₂ -Cl
no. of carbon atoms { C=C ene }
functional group is -CH₂
substituent is -Cl [chloro]
from the longest chain we get position '3'
hence the IUPAN name = 3-Chloroprop-1-ene or simply 3-chloropropene...
