Rules for the IUPAC name:

1. Select the longest Carbon chain with maximum number of double bonds.

2. The substituent group containing double bond is ethenyl

3. Numbering should be done from the side, so that the functional group (here OH) has the lowest number.

4. Suffix 'ol' is used for OH

5. The suffix 'ene' becomes 'en' ,

as there is vowel 'o' after it.

The IUPAC name of the compound is:

4-ethenyl-hept-1,6-en-3-ol
