Law of Segregation : It states that in a hybrid, the two members of allelic pair remain together without blending. When gametes are formed from the hybrid, the two alleles separate out and only one enters each gamete.

Law of Independent Assortment :

It states during gamete formation, segregating pairs of unit factor assort independent of each other.
