Dimensional analysis

limitations

  • the method does not give any information about the dimensionless constant k
  • it fails when a physical quantity depends on more than three physical quantities.
  • it fails to derive relationship which involves trigonometry, logarithm and exponential functions.
  • sometimes ,it is also difficult to identify the factors on which the physical quantities depend.

i hope it help you

otherwise report it

have a good life to you

Heya...

====Answer====

Limitations of dimensional analysis are :-

•The value of Dimensionless constants cannot be determined by this Method .

• This Method cannot be applied to equations Involving Exponential and trigonometric Functions

• It cannot be applied to an equation involving more than three physical states.

• It can check only whether a physical relation is Dimensionally correct or not.It cannot tell whether a the relation is absolutely correct or not .

Thank You .
