Answer:

a) The plasma membrane is localized at the outer side of the cytoplasm. It encloses the inner content of a cell and separates it from the external environment and it acts as a selectively permeable membrane therefore allows selective transport of molecules across the plasma membrane.

b) A cell wall is a characteristic feature of plant and bacterial cells. It is present outside the plasma membrane and its main function is to protect the plasma membrane and the inner component of cell i.e. it provides mechanical support to the cell.

c) Ribosomes are small granules like structures located on the rough endoplasmic reticulum, cytoplasm and in the nucleolus of the nucleus. Its main function is to help in protein synthesis.

d) Lysosomes are suicidal bags present in animal cells. It is present  in the cytoplasm and mostly adjacent to the Golgi bodies. Its main function is to destroy cellular debris by its enzymatic activity.

e) Nucleolus is a dark stained region and it is present inside the nucleus of a cell. Its main function is to synthesize ribosomes therefore it is called the ribosomal factory.

f) Endoplasmic reticulum are the membrane bound organelles present in the cytoplasm just after the nucleus of a cell. Its main function is to synthesize proteins, lipids and fats.
