in single party only one govt will rule that area .they won't have sufficient ideas for governing .In bi party system there are interpretution of more ideas and this form of government is considered as a better form of government .
One party system: Demerit: it is a derogatory democratic form of government. It does not give fair chance to people.
Merit:inter-political party conflicts are very less
Bi-Party system: Demerit: it just gives two options, if someone isn't satisfied with ethos of both parties he/she has got no choice. Sometimes, the ethos of political parties are more or less the same.
Merit: the election process doesn't get too vast and confusing.
Multi party system: Demerit: election process gets vast and confusing, no party gets a clear majority and the result is a coalition government. Many unacceptable ways are taken by parties to win election
Merit: people get a vast number of options to choose from.
