Name and composition of alloys:

           Many statues are made out of an alloy named brass which is made out of mixing two metals copper and Zinc together. It has a higher percentage of copper than zinc.  

            Another alloys that is used in making surgical instruments is stainless steel. The Steel is made Stainless by addition of chromium and Nickel in some specific quantity to make the instruments resistant of corrosion.  

            For making parts of ships the alloy that needs to be used should be light in weight and also free of corrosion in water hence an alloy of aluminum and magnesium is used in this case .
