HSO4- is the hydrogen sulfate ion. It is also called by the older name of Bisulfate ion. It can lose a proton and become Sulfate ion, or gain a proton to become Sulfuric Acid.
h2so4 =Sulfuric acid
so2 =Sulfur dioxide
so3 =Sulfur trioxide (alternative spelling sulphur trioxide) is the chemical compound with the formula SO3, with a relatively narrow liquid range.
so4 = Sulfate ion
