Units are very important for measuring different physical quantities and especially the SI units are the most important units that we use to measure different physical substances.

But in some cases we use different units also apart from the SI units.

For example;

1) For volume we often use gallon which is not a SI unit.

2) For temperature we often use fahrenheit which is not a SI unit.

3) For energy we often use foot pound force unit which is not a SI unit.
