Answer:The Physical state of the following metals and non metals is given below:

Mercury is liquid at room temperature.

Potassium exits in solid state at room temperature.

Calcium exist in solid state at room temperature.

Oxygen exists in gaseous state at room temperature.

Bromine exist in liquid state at room temperature.

Explanation:Potasium, calcium, oxygen and bromine are present in there expected states at room temperature but mercury exists in liquid phase at room temperature because because mercury has completely filled electronic configuration due to which it cannot share electrons with other atoms.Due to completely filled electronic configuration mercury is stable and has weak Vander Waal forces of attraction with other atoms.Hence mercury exist in liquid state at room temperature while other metals exist in solid state at room temperature.
