Hey!!!

HPTLC is a planar chromatography were the solvent moves through a plate fixed stationary phase, due to capillarity. HPTLC is an improved version of TLC, while HPLC is a pump driven flow system with a stationary phase filled column. HPLC and HPTLC are based on similar chromatographic principles and are high performance techniques. Neverless, usually HPLC is done in reverse phase (polar solvents/apolar stationary phase) and TLC or HPTLC are usually done in normal phase (non polar solvents/polar stationary phase).

hope it helps.
