The increase in temperature increases the kinetic energy of molecules. Due to an increase in kinetic energy, the molecules collide with each other and their molecular vibration increases which causes more ionization in water. Ionization produces more hydrogen ions which results in a decrease in pH value.Tempetature and pH have inverse relation with each other.

Furthermore, it can be observed that at 0°C the pH is 7.47 while at 100°C the pH becomes 6.14. Thus, the increase in temperature increases the value of ionization constant of water and pH value drops. Thus the solution becomes acidic with the increase in temperature and vice versa.
