Give the reason why traditional means of irrigation is still important in india

due to some factors people still rely on the traditional  means of irrigation in order to achieve their agricultural .Some of this factors .include ;

Inadequate fund to put in place the otherwise mechanism makes the farmers not to achieve their dreams of modern farming .The turnover from their farms is very low thus .

Lack of the know how also makes the farmers not to  consider modern techniques of irrigation .Some of them just rely on traditional means since this is what they know about farming.
