hola mate !! ✌️✌️

here's your answer ....

✔️ammeter measures the current . it is connected in series so that whole current passes through it and is measured accurately .

✔️voltmeter measures the voltage across two ends of circuit or element . it is connected in parallel so that it may not disturb the current of circuit . moreover , elements connected parallel have same potential difference.

hope it helps !! ❤️❤️

ammeter connected in series to detect current in the whole circuit ammeter is law inpedence device if it is connect in parralel than it cause short circuit and damaging the circuit
whereas voltmeter connected in parallel to detect the voltage in whole circuit this is necessary because object in parallel experience same potential energy and if it connects in series higher losses and damaging the device because voltmeter is high impedence device
hope it's helpful plz mark it as brainlist plz
