Digestion of cellulose is a more complex process than digesting meat. Since lion is a carnivore, it has a shorter small intestine than a deer (herbivore) which needs longer small intestine to digest cellulose.

hope it helps...

Answer:

Yes it is true

Explanation:

This is because digestion of cellulose is difficult. So it requires more time and enzymes to digest. Hence longer(in length) small intestine helps in better digestion of cellulose.

This is because deer is a herbivore whereas lion is a carnivore.
