Heya,

Let the number = x

Two thirds of the number = 2x/3

According to the question,

x + 2x/3 = 55

( 3x + 2x ) /3 = 55

5x / 3 = 55

x = ( 55 × 3 ) / 5

x = 11 × 3

x = 33

Therefore ,

Required number = x = 33

hello....

here is your answer ....

<b><i><u>Let the number be = x </b></i></u>

<b><i><u>So, it's two third = 2/3 x </b></i></u>

A/q..

x +  \frac{2}{3} x = 55 \\  \\  \frac{3x + 2x}{3}  = 55 \\  \\  \frac{5x}{3}  = 55 \\  \\ x = 55 \times  \frac{3}{5}  \\  \\ x = 11 \times 3
<b><i><u>So x = 33 </b></i></u>
