• Guru Pournima, is one of the most auspicious day in Hindu religion, where students and disciples offer special poojas to their gurus, masters, and teachers to honor and respect them.
• This day falls during the “Hindu month of Ashadha” on a full moon day.
• Guru Purnima Day is celebrated to mark the birthday of the ancient guru, Veda Vyasa, who blessed this world with the Vedas, Mahabharata, Bhagavadgita, Brahma Sutras and many other spiritual articles.

• Guru is our Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.
• Guru is the dispeller of darkness of ignorance.
• Guru is one who enlightens our life and soul.
