The visual design toolbox basically lets you build websites with your mouse. It allows you to place website elements the way you create a layout in Word. Basically, you see your website as you would see in a browser but also have the ability to manipulate it.

This is very useful because it allows you to build the skeleton of a website quickly and without the need to write a single line of code. Instead, Dreamweaver will automatically create the necessary code for you. That way, theoretically, you can put together an entire website by hand and upload it to your server.

• to create a new web page click on file menu, select new and choose a basic HTML page. Save this page by clicking file and select save as option to mention the page name index.html .

After your home page index.html is created you can use this page as a template layout for all the other pages in your site.

• Click on save as option under the file menu and name the file whatever you want, be show to keep the name is simple.

Make show you don't use capital letters auspices when naming the files this will make it easier for web browser to find your files.
