Collenchyma tissues is a simple permanent tissue. It provides flexibility to plants and helps them stand easily so their branches can be bent. They are found in petiole of leaves and branches. There are two sections of it

  1. Transverse section:It is long .It is found in branches and help in easily bending. In this section they are cut vertically.
  2. Longitudinal section:It also helps in flexibility.In this section they are cut horizontally.
