Cell : It is a device that converts chemical energy into electrical energy . It has a positive terminal and a negetive terminal .

Wire : It is a cylindrical strand of metal used to conduct electricity and flow it throughout the circuit .

Switch off : When the switch is turned off , no current is drawn into the circuit through the main supply .

Switch on : When the switch is turned on , an electric current flows through the circuit.
