(2x+1)(x-2) = 0

=> 2x(x) - 2x(2) + 1(x) - 1(2) = 0

=> 2x² - 4x + x - 2 = 0

=> 2x² -3x - 2 = 0

This is something like quadratic equation

ax² + bx + c = 0

So,

a = 2

b = -3

c = -2
