you can see the direction of the current in this diagram so upper 3 resistor in series combination so 10+10+10= 30ohm and this combination is parallel combination with 10 ohm so 1/Req=1/10+1/30, 1/Req= 3+1/30 ,1/Req= 4/30 , Req=30/4= 7.5ohm and according ohm's rule V= i×Req, 3=i× 7.5 ,I=3/7.5, I= 0.4A
