The most important goal of constructive teaching is that students learn how to take measures to enhance their own learning experience. Three characteristics of constructive teaching are mentioned below :
- Student-centered learning process : The learners are actively involved and take part in every discussion which is carried out in the class.
- Environment is democratic : Every student in the class is paid equal attention so that every student is able to learn in an effective way.
- Teaching is interactive : This helps the students to learn the practical applications of the topic which are being taught in the class. For example ; to make a child understand about the shape of ball, it may be related to shape of sun which is also of shape circle.
