Explanation:

A glacier on the other hand is a body of solid ice moving out of a snowfield. River is recharged by glacier melt water. River is the water bodies which is recharged by glaciers melt water, snow melt and water springs. While glacier is water body which is formed by accumulation of seasonal snow during winter season.
