➡️ Individual properties of constituents lost.

➡️ Cannot be separated into constituents by simple physical methods.

Example : water, ammonia, carbon dioxide, etc.

Mixture :

➡️ Can be heterogeneous or homogeneous.

➡️ Individual properties of constituents retained.

➡️ Can be separated into constituents by simple physical methods like evaporation, etc.

Example : air, mixture of sulphur powder and iron filling, soil, etc.
