There are many differences, some basics care :-

1. Insects have chitinous exoskeleton whereas mammals ,(and other vertebrates) has endoskeleton made up of calcium phosphate.

2. The respiratory path is through tracheal tubes in insects, whereas ,’,animals' has no such tube, red blood carries O2.

3. Poikilothermic (,cold blooded,) whereas, mammals (,and birds) are homeotherm (,warm blooded).
