Give three examples from day to day life where work done is zero even though force is applied. Also explain why work done is zero.​

Work done :

Work is said to be done when a Force F acts on an object and object moves through a distance S in the direction of force.

W=F X S ----------(1)

Work done can be positive , negative or Zero.

Work Done can be zero when any of these things happen:-

-->  When the force applied is Zero or  

---> When displacement is zero

---> If θis 90° then Work done is zero. W= FScosθ

Examples:

1.A person carrying heavy luggage and waiting for train on a platform.

2.A girl pushing a heavy rock.
