Democracy goes beyond the meaning of democracy.For effective democracy ,people must also develop certain important rules:
1.People in a democracy must accept diversity in the society.They must accept that others must have the right to disagree with their views.
2.People should be able to discuss and debate views and opinions .For this people need to be involved in public affairs and should be aware of social,economic and political views.
3.People should be willing to accept defeat in elections Even if one's favoured candidate loses in an election ,we should accept the verdict carefully and do not resort to violence.
