Give three physical properties of covalent compinds and give reason for each

Three physical properties of covalent compounds are :- 

1)They are usually liquids or gases due to weak forces of attractions between their molecules. 

2) They do not conduct electricity because they do not contain ions. 

3) They have usually low boiling points and melting points because they are electrically neutral compounds. So, the force of attraction between them is very weak.
