Answer:

           applications of  neutralisation reaction

1)  The acidity is neutralized   by antacid tablets which contain sodium hydrogen carbonate (bakingsoda),  magnesium hydroxide etc.

2)The stings of bees and ants contain formic acidacid. its corrosive poisonous effect can be neutralised by rubbing soap which contains NaOH (an alkali)

3) This method is used in wastewater treatment in order to reduce the damage created by the effluents.

4)Neutralization is used in the manufacturing of antacid tablets

5) The neutralization reaction is used to control the pH of the soil.

6) A neutralization reaction is when an acid and a base react to form water and salt and involves the combination of hydrogen ions and hydroxyl ions to generate water.
