Evaporation is a natural or artificial process in which the water gets heated to such an extent that it changes it's state from liquid to air. The evaporation leads to the formation of water vapor. The two applications of evaporation that can be observed in nature are:
1. Transpiration: The plants requires only 10% water for photosynthesis, respiration and for other cellular activities, the rest 90% of the water gets evaporated by the process of transpiration which involves the loss of water by the small pores present in plants.
2. Climatic control: The water from the terrestrial and aquatic bodies gets evaporated and maintains the atmosphere cool.
