Give two arguments to prove whether China is a democratic country or not ?

on this point i'd like to say that China is ruled by a single political party known as Chinese Communist Party. second of all they don't have elections since the multi party system is absent. so i'd say that China is not a democratic country

China is not a democratic country at all. The two arguments which show that China is not a democratic country are :

1. There is a single political party i.e Communist Party of China. No other political party or even opposition party is not allowed to be formed. The Communist Party alone fights elections and forms the government.

2.  The freedom of speech and expressions is curbed in China. No one is allowed to criticize the government. There is government ban in social media sites like Facebook. Tiannemen Sqaure Protest is another evidence of curbing right to expression.
