Give two differences between arenchyma and chlorenchyma?

PARENCHYMA:

1.)Parenchyma cells are present in the epidermis, cortex, pith and pericycle. Meristematic cells are parenchymatous.

2.)Thin cell wall

3.)Intercellular space is present.

4.)No pectin deposition.


CHLORENCHYMA:

1.)It occurs in the peripheral part of elongating organs like stem and petiole, usually appearing as a continuous ring beneath the epidermis.

2.)Unequally thickened cell wall.

3.)intercellular space is absent.

4.)Pectin deposition is found at the corners.
