In respiration in plants :-
1. It occurs through stomata, lenticels, roots, etc.
2.Plants reabsorb CO2 produced for photosynthesis.

In respiration in animals:-.
1.It occurs through lungs.
2.Animals release CO2 as waste byproduct into the atmosphere.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
