Sandy soil:-
It contains large size of rock particles.
It doesn’t hold more water.
It gives good aeration to plant roots and easily ploughed.
The fertility of the soil decreases.
It is not a sticky soil. It is not used for making pots and statues.
Loamy soil:-
It contains mixture if small and large particles.
It has water holding capacity for growing plants.
It automatically drains out the excess water.
