1) A body dropped from a height H above ground. When the body will reach a height H/2 it will have both Kinetic and potential energy.
2) A non-rigid body when moves with very high velocity then its shape (elastic potential energy) changes during its journey. At the time it also have Kinetic energy (no doubt) by which it is moving.

when a matter ( anything) like a ball is raise above the ground ,let's say height h and there is the acceleration due to gravity as g , with a mass m..So when this ball is at the height the ball is said to posses gravitational potentional energy ( essentially meaning P.E) when it is let down, the potential energy gradually converts into kinetic energy ( since it has been set into motion) when the ball reaches the ground the potential energy gets entirely depleted and K.E is highest .And in this process the magnitude of P.E is equal to the magnitude of K.E ,,,therefore it is constant...
