The Sulphur of H2So4 is in maximum Oxidation State (OS), ie +6. Hence it cannot be oxidised further. Since the reducing agent gets itself oxidised and the oxiding agent gets reduced ina reaction.

Thus H2SO4 only acts as an oxiding agent. (Ie it is actually reduced during the reaction).
