Nonrenewable energy resources, like coal, nuclear, oil, and natural gas, are available in limited supplies. This is usually due to the long time it takes for them to be replenished.

Any resource that cannot be replaced
during the time of a human life span.
Took thousands of years to form and
exist in fixed amounts in the Earth.
They need to be conserved before they
become depleted. examples orea. fossil fuels.

Renewable resources are replenished naturally and over relatively short periods of time. The five major renewable energy resources are solar, wind, water (hydro), biomass, and geothermal.
A renewable resource is a resource which can be used repeatedly and replaced naturally. Examples include oxygen, fresh water, solar energy and biomass.
