Normal, tension and frictional force are the examples of contact force.

Normal:When the body is at rest it experiences a normal force equal to the force due to its weight.

Tension:When a string is stretched, it produces tension.

Friction: When two bodies slide over each other a frictional force is created.

Contact forces are defined as when the force is presented in the two different bodies/objects and both the objects are in physically contact with each other. we can say that the contact forces between the two bodies.

The example of contact forces are as follows:

1. Reaction force

2.Tention

3. Friction

1. Reaction force: Reaction force is a force where an object is placed on a surface.

For example, A laptop on a table.

2. Tention: When an object is being stretched. we can say that the tension force is present between the object.

For example, Spring is attached to the specimen.

3. Friction: When an object is slid through another we can conclude that the friction force between them.

For example, The vehicle is sliding down a slop.
