BPL ( Below Poverty Line) scheme is used to remove inequality in the following ways:

1. By providing additional facilities to the underprivileged people to improve their quality of life.

Various schemes have been introduced especially for them such as Financial inclusion, Housing scheme, Health insurance scheme, etc. They also get free treatment under these schemes.

2. Giving them equal access to all sectors of the government for their economic as well as social development.

Answer:

Answer –The BPL scheme has helped to reduce the inequality by introducing minimum wage which helps the people working in low paying jobs, get the minimum amount to at least sustain themselves.

Another thing that the BPL scheme has done is let every other person irrespective of their caste, age or gender access all the government programs and the policies.
